Today we’ll visit beautiful Cascais, often referred to as the Portuguese Riviera. Its mixture of sleepy-sea-side-village-meets-playground-of-the-rich-and-famous feel is uniquely captivating. We’ll explore the delights of the village market together before heading off to a quaint and lovely local store which will host us for today’s azulejo-inspired yarn projects. And if you thought granny-squares are only for grannies, think again! After mastering the intricacies of doubles, trebles, rings and rounds, you’ll have the rest of the day to explore Cascais on your own. We’ll meet again in the late afternoon, and weather permitting watch the sun setting off the western-most point of continental Europe before enjoying a deliciously prepared dinner.
